Zaton is a picturesque village within the City of Šibenik, located in the northwestern part of the Šibenik Bay. Surrounded by the hills of Rasovac, Križeva glava, Mali Vranik and Veliki Vranik — Zaton has always been a favorite destination for families looking for peace away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
The specialty of Zaton is a promenade about three kilometers long which stretches from Dobri dolac cove to Šarina draga cove, ideal for morning and evening walks by the sea. Beaches Zvizda and Sara's dear they are known for their crystal clear sea and the natural shade of the pine forest.
Zaton is also known for rowing track arranged for VIII. Mediterranean Games in 1979, where numerous domestic and foreign crews still train today.
